What do I need to bring?

We provide all the essentials for a memorable stay but you will need to bring footwear that you can comfortably walk in, sunscreen, toothbrush and toothpaste, mosquito spray depending on the season for those long summer evenings by the fire pit.

If our locally crafted food and drink hampers don’t take your fancy, you will need to bring food for your stay. We capture and filter rainwater for the cabins so while it is safe to drink, it may taste a little different so if you desire, bring some bottled water if the Lord’s water is not floating your boat.

Whats the cooking set-up like?

Tiny House:

We have a 2-burner gas stove inside the cabin and a BBQ outside with an awesome view. The fire pit can also be used to cook your food or marshmallows on an evening.

The Cabin:

4 Burner gas BBQ on the deck behind the cabin or why not venture down to the Pavilion where you have the choice of a wood fired BBQ and an integrated outdoor kitchen BBQ.

The Cottage:

Fully equipped modern kitchen with oven and gas burner. Equally, you too have full access to the Pavilion cooking facilities including the Pig n Pilgrim wood fired BBQ and integrated outdoor kitchen BBQ.

Being off-grid will I still be able to charge my devices?

Charging phones and low wattage devices is not a problem for our Tiny, but we probably couldn’t handle hair straighteners or a slow cooker. In the spirit of Wild and Seek, who needs devices in the wilderness anyway!

For the Cabin, Cottage and Retreat, our solar system is geared to handle everything you could possibly need as if you were at home.

When will I find out the location?

We will send you via email all the information and details regarding your stay 7 days prior to arrival. It will include all information you need to know about your cabin so please ensure that you read it prior to your stay and check Junk.

Will I have mobile reception?

Yes we have, ranging from 3g to 4g depending on where you are in and around the cabin!

In the event of an emergency, you will be provided with the landowners number to call.

For the Cabin, Cottage and Retreat, you have Starlink wifi giving you high download speeds and wifi access throughout the property.

Is there car access to the cabin?

We have paved the way (not literally) so you can access our wilderness escape in a standard 2-wheel drive car. This is subject to weather though so contact us if you have any concerns or questions.

Car spots are available near the properties making it easier to unpack and pack!

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

Things can sometimes unexpectedly change so we will work with you to get a new date rescheduled or provide a credit note to use anytime within a year.

If you need to change your dates, let us know 7 days prior to your arrival so we can juggle things around.
